Who we are

Guiding for every age

From Dolphins through to adult volunteers, each stage of Guiding offers girls a chance to explore, make friends and grow in confidence and leadership. Here’s how the Malta Girl Guides programme looks in our Unit.

Dolphins (5-7)

First steps into Guiding

First steps into guiding, full of play, creativity and wonder. Through games, crafts and simple activities, Dolphins learn to share, care and be part of a team.

Brownies (7-10)

Learning and growing together

Brownies discover new skills through badges, stories and fun challenges. They start taking small responsibilities and experience what it means to help others.

Guides (10-13)

Adventure, skills & leadership

Guides embrace bigger adventures — from camps and hikes to service projects. They build practical skills and begin taking an active role in planning unit activities.

Rangers (13–16+)

Leading the way

Rangers and Senior Rangers take on leadership and service in Guiding and beyond: mentoring younger members, supporting community events and joining international opportunities.

Young Leaders (16-18)

Volunteer experience

Young leaders organise events, assist meetings, and grow confident by learning what it means to volunteer.

Adult Volunteers (18+)

Supporting the next generation

Adult volunteers guide, mentor and support the girls and young women in our unit, bringing the values of the Malta Girl Guides to life week after week.

We are part of the Central District of the Malta Girl Guides, and our Santa Venera unit works closely with neighbouring towns while keeping a strong local identity rooted in our own community.
